Utility Eligibility Update
For any relief cycle, applicants who are currently enrolled in the PIPP (Percentage of Income Payment Plan) are not eligible. This policy helps ensure that assistance is distributed fairly to households without access to ongoing support programs.

Fuel the Community
Launched July 15, 2026 at Sandston Library from 1pm to 2pm.
Fuel the Community is a transportation assistance program created by Bright Focus Initiative 804 to help residents of the 804 area overcome transportation barriers and maintain employment.
The program provides limited fuel assistance to eligible individuals who are currently employed or actively seeking employment.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Reside within the 804 service area
• Currently employed or seeking employment
• Transportation to work is a financial hardship
• One award per household per year
Our Mission
We believe transportation should not be the reason someone loses a job opportunity. Fuel the Community exists to help hardworking individuals stay connected to employment, opportunity, and economic stability.

Bright Focus Utility Relief Program
Bright Focus Utility Relief Pilot is a community-based program focused on reducing everyday stressors that impact wellbeing, stability, and readiness. We design prevention-focused support programs that help households stabilize essential needs while maintaining dignity and privacy.
Bright Focus Initiative 804 provides up to $200 in assistance. If your total balance exceeds this amount, your service may still be subject to disconnection if the remaining balance is not paid.
